Providence has two worship services per Sunday, one at 10 AM and the afternoon service at 3 PM.

Our worship services involve a structured and reverent experience focused on Biblical teaching and community worship. Here’s what you can expect:

1. **Warm Welcome**:  When you arrive at Providence, our Greeters will gladly provide you with what you need to worship with us, as well as answer any questions you may have. They can also direct you to our weekly "Host Family", who open their homes for fellowship and a meal in between our church services should you need one

2. **Children's Programs**: We have nursery services availble from newborns to age 3. Our Sunday School is offered for kids aged 4-6, where Bible stories and crafts keep your children busy and safe. As you will notice most children ages 6+ sit with their parents during the worship service. Feel free to have your children with you during the worship service or downstairs in any of the childcare rooms.

3. **Liturgical Format**: The service follows a liturgical order, which include elements like Scripture readings, prayer, singing hymns, and preaching.

4. **Emphasis on Scripture**: The Bible is central to the worship, with sermons that often explore specific passages, emphasizing Reformed theology.

5. **Congregational Singing**: Hymns and psalms are sung, accompanied by our piano, organ and other musical instruments. Our worship songs are taken from the Book of Praise, and are projected onto the wall so you can follow along. Books of Praise and Bibles are also available in the pews.

6. **Prayer and Confession**: We include prayers of confession and thanksgiving in our services, reflecting a focus on repentance and grace.

7. **Fellowship**:  After most morning services, coffee is served! We would love for you to join us for this time of fellowship. This is also when our Prayer Group meets in the basement to pray over any needs in the congregation.

Overall, you can anticipate a thoughtful, worshipful atmosphere centered on Scripture and the teachings of the Christian faith.
